Fox Sports pundit and “Out Kick The Coverage” founder Clay Travis isn’t being as critical on former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel as most.
“I feel bad for Johnny Manziel because he’s the equivalent right now of a child actor who has not been able to translate into being an adult,” Travis said during a Thursday Periscope session about Manzi’s recent NFL suspension. The outspoken sports analyst also said he’s not buying the idea that Manziel won’t ever be a successful quarterback. Travis pointed out that the former Heisman winner made “tremendous strides” during his first two seasons in the NFL.
