Colin Kaepernick’s former coach with the San Francisco 49ers Jim Harbaugh is speaking out against him.
Harbaugh, who now coaches at the University of Michigan, addressed Kaepernick’s decision to sit during the national anthem during a Monday press conference. (RELATED: Hookstead’
“I acknowledge his right to do that, but I don’t respect the motivation or the action,” Harbaugh told the media.

Recent reports have also surfaced that the 49ers will likely cut Kaepernick before the start of the season.
