ESPN pundit Kirk Herbstreit made it very clear that he loves America and the national anthem Monday morning.
The former Ohio State football player tweeted his thoughts on the entire Colin Kaepernick debacle, and other NFL players refusing to stand for the national anthem.
Gotta say w/ what Kaepernick has started and a few other players have joined in on-it has only made me APPRECIATE the anthem that much more.

I love my country. Don’t agree with everything but the Anthem is a reminder of how thankful I am to live in America. https://t.co/UpSPg033os

Herbstreit might have affirmed his love for America, but he did make it clear that the players can do whatever they want. (RELATED: NFL Commish Says He Supports Kaepernick, Might Punish Players Who Honor 9/11)
Never said it it did. Just saying how I FEEL since at games during the Anthem. They can do what they want. https://t.co/P40OXqUEUQ
