In a press gaggle on her campaign plane, Hillary Clinton took a parting shot at Donald Trump’s complaints about his microphone in the first presidential debate, and the gathered press loved it.
Tuesday morning Trump said what was reported as “sniffles” was actually due to breathing and a defective microphone. Clinton, as she was leaving reporters in the back of the plane, and in response to the shouted question about Trump’s stamina, Clinton said, “Anyone who complains about the microphone is not having a good night.”
The press pool and CNN host Carol Costello could not contain their delight, howling and laughing as Clinton returned to the front of the plane.
