George Washington University (GWU) is letting students know that 24-7 counseling services are available if they were traumatized by a recent video of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump making lewd remarks.
Trump may have had his presidential ambitions derailed by Friday’s video, in which he admits to sexually pursuing a married woman and says he likes to “grab [women] by the pussy.”
But some at GWU are worried the video’s existence may also have derailed the fragile psyches of some students.
“GWU sexual assault survivors retraumatized by #Trump comments can connect with @GWHealthCenter 24×7 or @GWHaven,” Peter Konwerski, GWU’s vice provost and dean of student affairs, said on Twitter over the weekend.

The message was subsequently retweeted by GWU’s student government and GW Haven, an anti-sexual assault organization and “safe space” at the school.
