President Obama’s relatives and others in his ancestral village are angry that the president’s half-brother Malik Obama has come out in support of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Local leaders and close relatives of Mr. Obama, whose father was born in Kenya and who is seen as a source of immense national pride, met to place a curse on Malik Obama…
“We have decided to curse him,” said James Otieno, a clan elder. “He is not one of us here because he is eating with the enemy. Why can he disown Obama, who is respected around the globe? Obama’s presidency has helped this village.”
I can’t even imagine how confusing this story must be if you’re in the alt-right. So many conflicting emotions!
Mr. Obama has dual citizenship in Kenya and the US, so he has the right to vote for anybody he wants. He says he’s voting for Donald Trump because “he is honest.” If that’s what Mr. Obama genuinely believes, he shouldn’t be cursed for it. Or actually, y’know, cursed.
Barack’s false claim that he was born in Kenya has been a net positive for him. Back when he was trying to make his mark, his fake foreign birth made him seem exotic. Then, when he finally rose to power, he used it against his enemies. They were the crazy ones for noticing that the Honolulu-born Obama had lied. It was a neat trick.
Now Barack Obama’s failed presidency is almost over, and it’s time for someone else to do an even worse job. God bless the poor soul who actually wins tomorrow. Talk about a curse.
