Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham announced he voted for Independent candidate Evan McMullin Tuesday on Twitter.
“I enthusiastically cast my ballot for my friend and colleague @VoteTimScott and other down-ballot Republicans running for office,” Graham tweeted. “In the prez race, voting for Hillary Clinton was always a non-starter and I couldn’t go where Donald Trump wanted to take the USA & GOP.”

“I voted @Evan_McMullin for President. I appreciate his views on a strong America and the need to rebuild our military,” Graham concluded in a three tweet series.
Graham has been an incredibly vocal opponent of Republican nominee Donald Trump since coming out for former Florida Governor Jeb Bush last December.
Graham announced last week he intended to vote for McMullin, and if his personal Twitter account is to be believed, he followed through on that promise.
