ABC News political commentator Cokie Roberts blamed Donald Trump’s electoral strength on the country have a “strong sentiment about not having a woman president” Tuesday night during the network’s election coverage.
Roberts attributed that sentiment to “non-college educated white men.”
“We’ve talked about excitement among women to have a woman president,” Roberts said. “There’s always, in these situations, at least equal amounts of hostility to that kind of change. And the fact that we’re seeing this, particularly among non-college educated men, is not surprising.”
