Black Lives Matter supporters expressed dismay over the possibility of a Trump presidency as Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump inched closer to securing the presidency Tuesday night.
Major sympathizers of the Black Lives Matter movement took to Twitter express their sadness as Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton lost in battleground states.
DeRay McKesson, a prominent activist within the movement, maintained that the closeness in the race meant that the most racist aspects of the country had come out.

Dear Muslims, Immigrants, Women, Disabled, and All People of Color,
I love you – boldly and proudly. We will endure. We will not break.
