New footage captures the truck speeding up moments before it crashes into a Christmas market in central Berlin, killing 12 and injuring 48.
The black truck can be seen from left to right as it heads toward the exterior wall of the market. People start running away from the scene moments after the truck disappears from the screen.

The video was obtained from a taxi driver’s dashcam as he waited in line to pick up customers outside the busy market. The entrance to the market, which circles around Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, is located where the lit Christmas trees are.
