Multiple pedestrians have been injured by a car in Times Square, Reuters reports.
Pictures from the scene appear to show a police blockade and a car on the sidewalk. People were reportedly screaming and running.
An NYPD official told I24 News the car lost control. An NYC official also told ABCNews the incident looked like an accident. News reports indicate 1 person has been killed in the collision.
WNBC reported the driver panicked and fled from the scene, and is now being questioned by police in custody.
