ESPN fired Curt Schilling over his conservative comments, but they seem to be taking Jemele Hills comments fairly lightly.
Hill accused the President of the United States of being a white supremacist and this tweet was all they had to say about the incident.

Curt Schilling was not afraid to come out and say what he though about this situation. Schilling Tweeted this yesterday stating how he felt.
anyone asking. She didn’t get fired ‘cauee disney and ESPN are fine w/liberal racism vs conservative logic. Only naysayers to that are liars

According to Business Insider though, it has nothing to with politics and everything to do with the fact that this was the first time Hill violated ESPN’s rules. They said Schilling did this multiple times, and that was the ultimate reason for his firing.
I cannot agree with ESPN on this situation, and it is all the more reason the network is going downhill fast.
