Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will bench players who disrespect the flag.
Jones spoke with the media following the Cowboys loss to the Green Bay Packers Sunday, and he made his position crystal clear.
He will not put players on the field who disrespect the American flag.
“Yeah, I don’t know about that, but if there is anything that is disrespectful to the flag then we will not play. You understand? If we are disrespecting the flag, then we won’t play. Period. Period. We’re going to respect the flag,” Jones responded when asked about Cowboys players raising their fists during the national anthem.

Jones is the first owner in the NFL to come out against players disrespecting the flag. Stay tuned to see if anybody on his team kneels during the anthem, and how he responds.
