Former Vice President Joe Biden and international pop star Lady Gaga are teaming up to help victims of sexual assault by opening trauma centers for abuse survivors.

“This is about the abuse of power … We’re on the cusp of fundamentally changing culture. Women hold up half the sky and, guess what, it’s time this ends,” Biden said when announcing the centers’ launch Monday at Glamour’s Women of the Year Summit, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“We finally are recognizing the long-term impacts on the health of women and men who’ve been abused,” Biden said, according to the Hill. “It’s the next great frontier I want to be a part of,” he added.

Little is known about the centers, as a spokesman for Biden didn’t give any further information, noting that the idea for the project was still fresh and that the trauma centers are in the very early stages of planning.

Former President Barack Obama and Biden launched “It’s On Us” in 2014, a sexual assault prevention campaign meant to combat assault and harassment on college campuses, an effort which Gaga signed onto emphatically.

“He should spend some time in jail as an old dinosaur,” Biden also said at the Summit, loudly condemning former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

In addition to her involvement in the It’s On Us campaign, Gaga co-founded the Born This Way Foundation to promote mental health and kindness.
