People Don’t Seem To Realize Johnny Manziel Doesn’t Play Football Anymore

The producers over at E! must not be huge football fans because they’re under the impression Johnny Manziel currently plays in the NFL.

Manziel’s fiancee Bre Tiesi posted a preview from the show “WAGs,” and a woman talks in the video about how Manziel is a “quarterback in the NFL.” (SLIDESHOW: Johnny Manziel‘s Fiancee Barely Wears Anything On Instagram)

That’s just a 100 percent false statement.

Who watches this trash? Nobody with an ounce of intelligence or any knowledge of sports honestly believes you can honestly call Manziel an NFL quarterback at this moment. Not even close. He hasn’t taken a snap of professional football in the past two seasons.

That’s like saying I’m currently an intramural basketball star. That might have been the case several years ago, but it’s certainly not reflective of modern day reality.

Perhaps the people at E! should spend a shade less time on producing garbage television, and a little more time watching sports.
