White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders took a shot at Democrat lawmakers’ patriotism during Tuesday’s briefing.

“Do they hate this president more than they love this country?”

After Donald Trump mused on whether Democrats who didn’t clap for good economic news were “treasonous” Monday, multiple Democrats and members of the media attacked his comments. (RELATED: Trump Targets Democrats Who Wouldn’t Stand At State Of The Union — ‘Shall We Call That Treason? Why Not?’)

In response, anti-Trump Senator Jeff Flake said that POTUS has a “flagrant disregard for truth and decency.”

When a reporter asked Sarah Huckabee Sanders about Flake’s comments, she filled the White House press briefing with fireworks.

“Honestly, I’m not going to respond directly to Senator Flake’s comments. I don’t care what Senator Flake has to say,” Sanders flatly stated. “I don’t think his constituents do either, and that’s why his numbers are in the tank. The president was clearly joking with his comments. But what isn’t a joke is the Democrats refuse to celebrate the accomplishments of all Americans.”

“What I don’t think the country understands is why Democrats are so upset about lower taxes and higher wages. That’s something that every American should be celebrating. Not crying about. Not sitting on their hands for.”

“Democrats are going to have to make a decision at some point really soon. Do they hate this president more than they love this country? I hope the answer to that is no.”

Boom.
