Netflix released the trailer on Tuesday for Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” Season 2 and from the looks of the clip, it’s going to be one explosive season.
In the video posted on YouTube, fans of the dark super hero series witness Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, first attending an anger management class and sharing her dramatic life story before she destroys a handful of bad guys.
“My whole family was killed in a car accident. Someone did horrific experiments on me. I was abducted, raped, and forced to kill someone. And I’m in here bouncing a god-dammed ball,” Ritter’s character shared in the clip. (RELATED: ‘Saturday Night Live’ And ‘Westworld’ Dominating 2017 Emmy Awards Nominations)
“Jessica Jones is a hard-drinking, short-fuse, mess of a woman who is just trying to make a living as a Private Investigator in New York City. She’s super strong but is haunted by a dark past that keeps her from truly becoming a hero,” a description released with the trailer read.
“Yeah, I always deal with threats head on–meaning, I punch them in the head until they’re unconscious,” Ritter explained as the trailer showed her character doing so over and over again.
“Jessica Jones” Season 2 premiers March 8, 2018 on Netflix.
