Tiger Woods officially returned to the golf course months ago, but there’s been a lot of debate about whether or not he’s back. But there is no debate in Fred Couples’ mind.
“Oh, Tiger’s back . . . I love it,” Couples said with a smile when hit with the big question. “I would say Augusta will be very, very interesting. I’m gonna play a little bit with him and have fun and watch him play.”
Not only does Couples have high praise for Tiger’s game, but he also shook off questions about his scandalous past that led to his initial fall from grace. (RELATED: Roy Williams Opens Up His NCAA Press Conference With A Tiger Update)
“He’s a good man. He’s on the right path,” Couples said. “Everyone’s got an opinion about everybody, but have a great opinion on Tiger. He’s a cool guy.”
Last week Tiger proved that he can still compete with the best of them, finishing tied for second place at nine under par. This week he’s already off to a solid start tied for 10th at four under par.
With The Masters just a few weeks away, Tiger is in prime position to make a run at another green jacket.
