Code Pink protesters were forcibly removed from Secretary of State nominee Mike Pompeo’s Senate confirmation hearing on Thursday.

The anti-war protesters, who were dressed in pink police uniforms and dubbed themselves the “Pink Police,” filed into the Senate room prior to Pompeo’s hearing. They sang songs and chanted “This man is no diplomat” and “No Pompeo, no more war.”

At least one protester was removed after she shouted during the hearing, and others interrupted Kansas Senator Agriculture Chairman Pat Roberts’ defense of Pompeo.
