Police are reportedly responding to an active shooter situation in Panama City Beach, Fla.
The scene was in the 2300 block of Beck Avenue. A witnesses told WJHG they heard at least 50 gunshots.

The suspect, 49-year-old Kevin Robert Holroyd, barricaded himself in the apartment complex and fired off shots at police officers. Police officers found Holroyd dead when they entered the entered the apartment, CBS 12 reported.

One person was injured after the exchange of gunfire and was taken to a local hospital, city spokeswoman Caitlin Lawrence told reporters Tuesday.
