Trump And Merkel Are In A Cold War Of Words — But Watch What Happens When Melania Steps In

President Trump and German Chancellor Merkel are in a new cold war.

Trump has hammered Merkel on how much percentage of their GDP Germany spends on NATO forces, and also hit Germany for their reliance on Russian fossil fuel.

Before meetings with NATO members, the president tweeted, “What good is NATO if Germany is paying Russia billions of dollars for gas and energy?”

Trump continued, “Why are there only 5 out of 29 countries that have met their commitment? The U.S. is paying for Europe’s protection, then loses billions on Trade. Must pay 2% of GDP IMMEDIATELY, not by 2025.”

The meeting between the two world leaders was chilly according to footage and photos.

However, ahead of a working dinner at The Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels, Melania Trump was seen charming the Chancellor. The two spoke at length before the dinner and greeted each other with a kiss. Footage of the three talking seems to show how much Melania can charm a room.
