“I’m here to call on folks to understand that in the moral moment there is no neutral in a moral moment. There [are] no bystanders. You are either complicit in the evil, you are either contributing to the wrong or you are fighting against me,” Booker said.

“I am calling on everyone right now who understands what’s at stake, who understands who Kavanaugh is … if someone shows you who they are believe them the first time,” he continued.

Booker has continued to denounce Kavanaugh’s nomination to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy who retired last month.

The New Jersey Senator has made it clear that if Kavanaugh gets confirmed, “he must pledge to recuse himself from matters involving the special counsel.”

The Democrats have been very fearful of Kavanugh after he shared his thoughts that President Clinton should not have been worried about his personal scandals and should’ve instead been focused on leading this country and how that could impact the current president with the ongoing Russian collusion case.
