Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is running to be the Congresswoman for New York’s 14th Congressional District.
She earned a surprise victory over Joe Crowley, a near-20-year incumbent, in the Democratic primary.
Ocasio-Cortez, a self-proclaimed Democratic-Socialist, has been a media darling since her upset and has made no shortage of appearances on liberal outlets like MSNBC, CNN, NowThis and many more.
While Ocasio-Cortez has an overall positive message, she seems to have no idea how she wants to achieve her proposed policy changes, all she really knows are the classic Bernie taglines of free healthcare and college for everybody.
She’s been using her newfound infamy on media tours and at rallies to promote her own and other Democratic hopefuls.
These opportunities have provided us with a multitude of idiotic soundbites and plenty of factual misrepresentations, and in some cases, blatant lies.
