Rita Ora celebrated becoming the first woman to ever grace the cover of Esquire Middle East magazine after sharing the two cover shots from her October issue on Instagram.
“I’m an @Esquiremiddleeast cover girl thank you for making me the first ever woman cover shoot star,” the 27-year-old British singer and actress captioned her post on Sunday, along with a few shots from the shoot.

In a second post shared on Monday, she is captured wearing a black-and-white clip from the shoot wearing a variety of revealing outfits.

“Being a woman doesn’t limit me, but I think we need to be more outspoken about what we have done, and not about what we don’t have,” Ora explained in an excerpt from the article shared by the magazine on its social media account later in the day.
“We’re proud to say that Rita Ora is the first ever woman that @EsquireMiddleEast has shot for its cover,” the magazine captioned the second post. “Bad record label deals, tabloid [rumors] and ‘it girl’ status @RitaOra has been through a lot in her short music career … But with the release of her new album Phoenix she is back, and means business.”
