Bill Cosby doesn’t sound like he’s exactly having a hard time behind bars at Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution Phoenix.

The disgraced comedian was sentenced to 3-to-10 years in prison after assaulting Andrea Constand back in 2004. Those hoping he’d be having a rough time, however, may be in for some disappointment. (RELATED: THE PRISON BILL COSBY WILL SPEND HIS SENTENCE IN IS ONE OF THE TOUGHEST IN AMERICA)

TMZ reported the following details:

Since he’s not in general pop yet, he spends a lot of his time chatting with prison staff. Wyatt tells us Cosby has mentioned many times how respectful the staff is and how well they’ve treated him.

Cosby also gets daily calls from his wife, Camille. We’re told the calls are only for a few minutes, but convos almost solely revolve around the plan to appeal his conviction.

Chatting up the staff and daily phone calls to his wife sounds like a far cry from what I think people thought was going to happen. I guess this might not be a “Prison Break” level of a situation at all. Of course, Cosby, at the age of 81, has some serious health issues, which is probably only going to make his stay a little more cushioned.

Personally, I think it’s safe to say that a majority of people are happy to see that Cosby actually got some prison time instead of just being slapped with house arrest. Yes, he’s extremely old, but his crimes are still very serious.

It’s crazy to think 30 years ago he might have been the most popular man in America, and now he’s behind bars. I don’t think anybody saw that coming during the days of “The Cosby Show.”
