Red Sox fans pulled off one of the most disrespectful and hilarious moves in sports history on Tuesday night, further cementing their place as one of the best fandoms in the world.

It happened during the bottom of the eighth inning during the first game of the 2018 World Series. The Red Sox, with a comfortable 8–4 lead over the LA Dodgers, were feeling pretty confident that they had Game 1 in the bag. So Boston fans, always hungry, shifted their focus to a team they actually have a rivalry with.

A ‘Yankees Suck’ chant broke out throughout all of Fenway Park. You can watch some of it below:

Imagine! A “Yankees suck” chant! The disrespect! The utter indecency! The Red Sox are so confident about this Series that they’ve completely taken their eyes off 2018 and are already focused on next year.

It’s gotta be such a tough look to be a Dodgers fan. They have, quite possibly, the least likable roster of players in MLB history, their own city barely cares about them, and now their opponents aren’t even worried about them.

I almost — almost — feel sorry for the Dodgers. They made a ton of mistakes last night, and the Red Sox thoroughly dismantled them. They picked them apart limb for limb, inning for inning. They’re clearly the superior team and they’ve already won the series. Just call it now.
