Khabib Nurmagomedov apparently thinks he deserves to be paid a ton of money to keep fighting.
His manager Ali Abdelaziz told TMZ the following about how much money he thinks Khabib deserves:
Ben Askren, Woodley, none of these guys can touch Khabib. Especially, if they’re scared to get tired and these guys, they get tired. Like, now, I’m not even worried about Tyron or Ben Askren, I’m worrying about somebody bringing $50 million to $100 million to the table and none of these guys can bring $200,000 to the table.

Conor McGregor draws that kind of money because he’s an international superstar. Khabib is well-known within the fighting game, but I’m not sure he has the name recognition to draw the same kind of money.
Now, that’s not to say he’s not incredibly talented. I think we all know that, especially after the beating he gave McGregor at UFC 229. The Russian-born fighter has all the talent in the world. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)

Still, I’m just not sure they’re going to hand him that kind of cash just yet. People I knew that didn’t even watch the UFC still knew a ton about McGregor. He had mass appeal in large part because he’s just so charismatic and entertaining.
Khabib doesn’t have five percent of the same charisma. That’s a problem for setting up fights that appeal to people outside of the usual fanbase. You might disagree, but that’s a fact.

He’s going to keep making money, but I just don’t see him drawing McGregor-like numbers at this point in time.
