The three Heisman finalists were revealed Monday night, and the list of names won’t surprise anybody.
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Oklahoma gunslinger Kyler Murray and Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins were the three players chosen to make the trip to New York.

Going into conference championship weekend, it had looked like the Heisman was almost a lock to end up in Tuscaloosa with the Crimson Tide quarterback. (RELATED: Georgia Loses To Alabama After One Of The Dumbest Play Calls In Football History)

Personally, I’d love to see Murray walk away with the trophy. He’s just so electric to watch play. Yes, you can make an argument Big 12 defenses are trash, which is a fair assessment.
However, you simply can’t argue against the fact Murray has showed up time and time again when the Sooners needed him. His play against Texas was phenomenal. He threw for almost 400 yards in his biggest game of the year and had a clear Heisman moment. Hand the young man his award, and let’s get on with the playoff.
