The Philadelphia Eagles’ 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Rams drew a considerable audience for “Sunday Night Football” on NBC.

According to Deadline, the game got a rating of 12.5, which means roughly 12-and-a-half percent of homes with televisions watched Nick Foles lead the Eagles to a victory. That’s a four percent increase from last week’s game between the Rams and Bears.

Once again, the NFL puts on an impressive showing when it comes to primetime ratings. I feel like I’ve had to point this out about a million times, but the ratings have done very well for the league this season.

It’s almost like good games and a lack of politics being injected is a formula for success. What a wild turn of events! I don’t think anybody could ever have seen that coming. (RELATED: Here Are The Best Moments Of Week 14 Of The NFL Season)

As somebody who loves football, I’m glad to see the NFL bouncing back after two solid seasons plagued by national anthem protests and other ridiculous garbage that did nothing to advance the game.

Goodell and others in control need to stick to what they’ve been doing lately. It’s clearly working, and viewers are tuning back in.

It’s a good time for the NFL, and I don’t think that’s something many expected to say at this time a year or two ago.
