Another day, another Kim Kardashian controversy on Instagram.
The so-called selfie queen posted, then deleted, a video of herself showing off some new post-holiday gifts and boxes, several of which were sent to her by controversial clothing label Dolce & Gabbana. The video has since been deleted but the eagle-eyed celebrity account Diet Prada captured her video and posted it to their own account. You can watch it below.
Many fans found this to be problematic, since designer Stefano Gabbana has called the Kardashians “cheap” in the past. The designers have also made some homophobic comments before, suggesting that gay couples shouldn’t be allowed to have children, as they only believe in “traditional” families. The designers have also been accused of racism and bullying in the past, and once infamously called Selena Gomez “ugly” on social media.
So after pressure mounted against Kim K to delete her Instagram story, the reality star quietly did.
Her most recent stories now chronicle her workout, as well as a shot from her Monday morning fittings. She hasn’t apologized for posting about Dolce & Gabbana, but we’re assuming she learned her lesson.
