Coming into the game, I made it pretty clear that we needed a big win. That wasn’t a secret at all to anybody. After falling to Michigan, we didn’t have a lot of room for errors. (RELATED: Wisconsin Loses Heartbreaking Game To Michigan)

Well, apparently, I didn’t motivate the guys enough because we didn’t win, and we look awful in the final few minutes of the game.

The lone bright spot was Ethan Happ becoming the fourth player in Big Ten history to get at least 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in their career.

We have a razor thin margin moving forward. We’re sitting at 17-8. Is our tournament bid in trouble? Probably not, but we can’t take another loss if we want to be safe. We just can’t.

Gentlemen, we’re in the trenches right now. Either we hold the line or we’re going to get crushed. Trust me, fans will not accept the latter option. (RELATED: Tennessee And Duke Lead Latest AP College Basketball Poll, Wisconsin Drops To 20)

This is Wisconsin basketball, and we expect to win.

We play Illinois Monday, and that’s a game that we have to win. Luckily, I think Gard will have the guys ready to go.

Has it been a disappointing few days? Yes, but it’s time to get rolling. My Badgers aren’t going anywhere.

P.S.: Below is a live look at my reaction when the clock hit zero last night.
