Four men were caught on camera at a Florida gas station fighting off and subduing a gunman who was attempting to rob the men.
According to WPLG, the four men were vacationing from Indiana for spring break. The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 a.m. Sunday morning, March 17, and video footage captured by the Broward County Police department was made public on Tuesday. While the four men were filling up their gas tank, a man in a black mask allegedly attacked them at gunpoint and demanded money. The suspect was then joined by a shirtless accomplice, whom they were also able to fight off. As the scuffle concluded, the gunman was able to run to his car and drive off, and the suspect still remains at large. (RELATED: Gun-Wielding Great-Grandmother Fends Off Burglar)
However, the shirtless accomplice was arrested. The man, identified as 33-year-old Kevin Campbell, was detained by authorities the day of the incident.
According to CBS Miami, police warned robbery victims not to take the same course of action as these four men did, as it could have deadly consequences.
