MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” panel expressed concern Tuesday about President Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani’s state of mind, saying he is being abused and suggesting he is losing his mental faculties.

Giuliani has appeared on multiple news programs and revealed information about Trump that has resulted in larger issues. He has often garnered press for going off at hosts and seemingly contradicting his own statements.

“Donny, to see that guy and see him now, I’m not even talking about his defense of Donald Trump, but his decreased capacities,” co-host Joe Scarborough said. “It is sad and it is pathetic, and of course, yes, it ruins his legacy, but more than that, I’m wondering who’s around Rudy Giuliani allowing him to continue to go out at night and embarrass himself on TV?”

“Is there someone around him taking care of him?” co-host Mika Brzezinski asked.

Guest Donny Deutsch continued on to note that “we all know the rumors” before being cut off. It is unclear what the rumors are, but Deutsch appeared to be referring to Giuliani’s mental health.

“Someone needs to take care of him,” Brzezinski added. “It’s abusive.”

The House of Representatives announced a formal impeachment inquiry into the president after a whistleblower complaint in August alleged he had asked Ukrainian officials to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. The complaint was related to a July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. (RELATED: What Is The Process For Impeaching A President?)

Giuliani began his string of television interviews with CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Sept. 19, where the two got into an argument that ended up with Giuliani contradicting himself.

At first, he denied asking Ukraine to look into Biden. Moments later, Giuliani said “of course” he asked Ukraine to look into Biden, contradicting his original claim. Since then, Giuliani has appeared on numerous outlets.

Trump’s personal lawyer has also promised to released incriminating evidence on Biden. During another television hit, he told Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo on Sept. 23 that “there’s a lot more evidence” he will be putting out about the former vice president, adding that the controversy over the phone call with Ukraine only helps Trump because it puts the spotlight on Biden.
