The Ohio State Buckeyes are the early favorites to win the Big 10 football championship.

According to Saturday Tradition, the Buckeyes lead the pack at -225 at BetOnline.ag, and they’re followed by Michigan at +350 and Wisconsin at +900. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Not a single other team in the conference in under +1000.

This might surprise you all, but the Buckeyes are the smart play on this one. They’re the defending champions, they have the most NFL talent in the conference and they have the best quarterback in the B1G in Justin Fields.

If you’re playing it safe, the Buckeyes are without question the team you should roll with to win the B1G.

At the same time, it’s laughable to think Michigan is going to even sniff a title. The Wolverines? Give me a break.

How many seasons are we going to have to listen to preseason hype before we just accept Jim Harbaugh and company can’t even win the Big 10 East.

Ohio State owns that division, and they’re going to have Indy locked down until further notice.

I’ll believe Michigan is capable of winning the B1G when I first see Harbaugh actually beat OSU. Until that happens, I’m not buying it at all.

As for the Badgers, we’re going to win the B1G West. That’s just going to happen. Accept it, process it, internalize it and then we can move on.

The question is whether or not we can beat OSU in the title game. In 60 minutes of action, I’m not willing to count Wisconsin out against anybody.

Sound off in the comments with who you’re taking. I just can’t wait for the action to get rolling!
