The 2021 NFL draft finally has a starting date.

According to Adam Schefter, the league announced Tuesday the draft will start April 21 in downtown Cleveland. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

While Cleveland might not be the sexiest city on the planet, I can actually get behind this move by the NFL.

The weather in late April in Cleveland should be prime, and the downtown part of the city is actually shockingly impressive.

Is it like Las Vegas or Los Angeles? No, but Cleveland is a very underrated city. I went to Cleveland for the RNC and had a lit time.

I can only imagine it’ll be crazier when hundreds of NFL fans flood the area for the draft. It’s a passionate football city, and it’s opening its arms for fans around the country to join.

Plus, it’s kind of a centralized location for the draft to take place.

Honestly, hosting the draft in Cleveland isn’t a bad call at all for the NFL. If it’s anything like the RNC was in 2016, then it’s going to be a great time.
