Former Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle reportedly spoke with the woman who claimed four men set her on fire while she was driving.

The phone call between Althea Bernstein, 18, and Markle was confirmed by Michael Johnson, the President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, according to a report published by Channel 3000.

“[Althea] and Meghan talked about the importance of self-care and allowing herself to heal,” Johnson told the outlet. “She applauded her for the way that she responded and pretty much said, ‘Hey, Michael, give me her cell phone number. I want to stay in touch, and let me know when you want me to come back and talk to people in Wisconsin.'”

Johnson claimed Markle and Bernstein also talked about faith and being bi-racial. Markle reportedly encouraged Bernstein to stay off social media.

Bernstein reportedly filed a police report after allegedly being set on fire by four white men while driving. (RELATED: Detroit Father Of 5 Devastated After Destroys His Home)

“She looked and saw four men, all white. She says one used a spray bottle to deploy a liquid on her face and neck, and then threw a flaming lighter at her, causing the liquid to ignite,” according to the police report filed over the phone, CNN reported.

Bernstein claimed she drove home and eventually drove to the hospital after being encouraged by her mother in an interview with “Good Morning America.”

Johnson also had a conversation with Markle that Prince Harry reportedly joined in on as well.

“Prince Harry shared that young people’s voices matter and that Madison have our thoughts, prayers and wishes,” Johnson wrote on Facebook. “Meghan has agreed to talk with girls in Wisconsin and we will be scheduling that soon.”

“Thank you Meghan for reaching out and checking on our kids in Madison Wisconsin today,” he added. “I enjoyed the call.”
