A viral video shows a man dangling a child over a cliff in Beijing, China, for a picture.

The man, believed to be the child’s father, held the child over the edge of the cliff while a family member took pictures, per Lad Bible. The cliffside, Hongjing Road, has reportedly been nicknamed the “Devil’s Road” because of its hairpin turns. (RELATED: British Bar Reportedly Uses Electric Fence To Enforce Social Distancing)

The video of the man and the child has reportedly reached 13 million views on AsiaWire. Onlookers watched as the man held the child with both hands as the child pushed against the cliffside with his feet. In the video of the child, a Chinese pedestrian can reportedly be heard saying “Look, look! The kid’s hands are shaking!”

People have criticized the father on social media, per Daily Mail, with some saying that he is “undeserving of being a parent.” Others reportedly “felt sorry” for the child and attacked the family members calling them “stupid and thoughtless idiots.” It is unclear if officials will investigate or charge the man, per Lad Bible.

Hongjing Road was converted to a tourist site in 2009 and features a pedestrian walkway and observation deck at its highest point, per the International Business Times
