Megan Fox reportedly took a swipe at her estranged husband Brian Austin Green for painting her as an “absent mother,” among other things.
“Why does Journey have to be in this picture?” the 34-year-old actress wrote next to a picture Green shared on Instagram of himself and their 4-year-old son dressed up for Halloween, per the “Today” show in a piece published Monday. Fox continued, “I know you love your kids. But I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via social media.”
The “Jennifer’s Body” star then accused Green of being “intoxicated with feeding” a “pervasive narrative” that Fox is an “absent mother” and that her estranged husband is the “perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.”
The “Transformers” star concluded her comments by questioning why her ex felt the need to have the internet “echo back” to him “what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way” his “children” love him.
The two stars tied the knot back in 2010 and have three children together, Journey, Bodhi, 6, and Noah, 8.
The comments come after Green confirmed back in May that he and Fox had split up. Megan has since gone on to make numerous headlines about her relationship with 31-year-old rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
