That left an opening for the Black Knights, and they didn’t hesitate to take it. Now, Army and the Mountaineers will battle December 31 at 4:00 EST on ESPN!

I think I speak for college football fans everywhere when I say that this is awesome. Army was originally shafted out of a bowl game.
It looked like the 9-2 Black Knights were going to have to watch bowl season from home. Now, they’re geared up for a battle against WVU to close out 2021. It should be a hell of a fun time.

Army is a very solid program, had an outstanding year and I couldn’t be happier that they’re going bowling.
It was an absolute joke that they were originally kept out of a bowl game, and the situation has now been fixed.
