British Model Stella Tennant Dies At 50

Model Stella Tennant has died at the age of 50.

The family confirmed Tennant passed away Dec. 22 suddenly to The Sun.


“It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death of Stella Tennant on 22nd December 2020,” the family said in a statement to The Sun. “Stella was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to us all. She will be greatly missed.”

“Her family ask for their privacy to be respected,” the statement continued. “Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.” (RELATED: Star Actress From The 1960s Dead At 88)

Tennant was the granddaughter of The Hon. Deborah Mitford.

Tennant, who worked with Karl Lagerfeld, was photographed by Steven Meisel and Bruce Weber.

She appeared in French, British and Italian Vogue along with Harper’s Bazaar. Tennant also appeared in campaigns for Chanel, Calvin Klein, Hermès, Burberry.

Many tributes have been shared for Tennant on social media.

Versace called Tennant Gianni Versace’s “muse.”

“Versace is mourning the death of#StellaTennant,” Versace tweeted. “Stella was Gianni Versace’s muse for many years and friend of the family. We will miss you forever Stella. Rest In Peace.”
