Kellen Moore has reportedly interviewed to be the next head football coach at Boise State.
According to Mike Prater, the current Dallas Cowboys OC has interviewed to replace Bryan Harsin, who was recently hired away by Auburn. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
Can confirm, through multiple sources, that Kellen Moore & Andy Avalos have high interest in #BoiseState job. Both families on board. Both have interviewed. Process has included Chris Petersen, per sources. I expect one to be hired this week. More details Sunday in @TheIdahoPress pic.twitter.com/hoDvbHdVP3

As I said a few days ago, Boise State hiring Kellen Moore makes too much sense. Moore starred for the Broncos for multiple years, he has NFL coaching experience and he has ties to the university.
On paper, he’s the definition of a home run hire.
When you have a coaching candidate with NFL experience and ties to the program, you have to put them at the top of the list.
When that person was also the starting quarterback, you put a gigantic premium on their name. It sounds like that’s exactly what BSU is doing.
As a betting man, I’d bet just about anything that Moore is the next head coach of the Broncos. I’m that confident that BSU has found their man. It makes way too much sense to pass up.
