I wish I could sit here and say that I’m surprised, but we all know that I’m not. The past few weeks of Wisconsin basketball haven’t been pretty at all.

We’ve looked far from stellar, and that’s putting it lightly. We looked atrocious against Penn State.

I’d be lying if I said this situation just wasn’t classically a Wisconsin situation. We start the season with all the hype in the world, look great early, drop games we shouldn’t and reality starts coming crashing down.

We’ve all seen it before!

Do I still think this Wisconsin team can make a run? Without a doubt, but we still clearly have a ton of work to do. Let’s hope we take another step in the right direction Tuesday night against Penn State. We simply have to get better.
