Netflix has a new documentary coming out about Notorious B.I.G., and it looks outstanding.

The plot “Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell,” according to Netflix’s YouTube description, is, “Every legend has an origin story. Christopher Wallace, AKA The Notorious B.I.G., remains one of Hip-Hop’s icons, renowned for his distinctive flow and autobiographical lyrics. This documentary celebrates his life via rare behind-the-scenes footage and the testimonies of his closest friends and family.” (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

Judging from the trailer, this one is going to be an emotional rollercoaster for fans of Biggie’s music. Give it a watch below.

I can’t wait to see this documentary from Netflix. We’re talking about a man who changed music forever. His presence in the hip-hop game was among the best to ever do it, and he was then gunned down in his prime.

On March 9, 1997, B.I.G was shot and murdered in Los Angeles, and the case remains one of the most infamous unsolved crimes in American history.

His death has resulted in several different documentaries, shows and theories.

Now, Netflix is shining a light on the situation nearly 21 years after Biggie’s horrific and tragic death. I think it’s safe to assume this one will draw in plenty of viewers.

You can watch “Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell” starting March 1 on Netflix.
