Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson appeared to have struck a nerve with the Department of Defense (DOD) after he said the military’s focus was on promoting diversity more than winning wars. While China was working overtime to make its military more masculine, the U.S. is doing the exact opposite, Carlson said in an early March episode of his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight.” The claim quickly garnered backlash.
