ESPN thinks Oklahoma is the best college football team in America with spring practices in the books.

The popular sports network released its post-spring top 25 teams, and the Sooners came in the top spot. Expectations in Norman are extremely high with Spencer Rattler leading the offense for his second straight season. Alabama, Georgia, Clemson and Ohio State rounded out the top five. All of the teams in the top five spots figure to be national title contenders in 2021.

The part about the rankings that blew me away was the fact ESPN had the Badgers at 18! How the hell do you put Wisconsin at 18th in the country after spring ball wraps up?

It makes no sense at all. We return almost all of our starters, have Graham Mertz back at quarterback, head coach Paul Chryst is in complete control of the offense and our defense will be stout as always.

If you think we’re not going to be a top ten team fighting for a B1G title, then you’re delusional. Just because we had a rough 2020 thanks to COVID-19 doesn’t mean that we’re out of the fight.

We’re the Wisconsin Badgers. We don’t bow to anyone.

More than anything, I just can’t wait for the season to start. I need college football like I need air in my lungs. Feed it to me!
