DMX apparently met an angel when he was a little kid.

The legendary rapper, who died in April after complications from a drug overdose, gave a final interview for the TV One’s series “Uncensored,” according to Complex, and in it, he touches on the time he was hit by a car as a four-year-old kid. “As soon as I stepped off the curb coming down from the store, a car hit me [and] knocked me way over on the other side of the street up under another car,” DMX stated in the interview, according to the same Complex report.

After being hit, a white woman appeared holding a clipboard and told him to stay down. This woman in the eyes of DMX might have been an angel.

“You’d think that she would’ve stuck around because she saw the whole thing. I don’t know, I felt like it was an angel. She got no business being in the hood with a clipboard,” the legendary rapper explained.

This is just such a wild story, and personally, I 100% believe there are angels out there. I wouldn’t want to live in a world where angels didn’t exist.

At the same time, at the age of four, it’s probably hard to really know what the hell is going on. You’re just not really old enough to understand.

All that really matters is that DMX survived getting hit by a car and had one of the most successful careers in the history of music before it met a very tragic end.

Hopefully, he finds the peace on the other side he struggled to find in his later years.
