The second-to-last episode of “Mare of Easttown” looks like it’s going to be lit.
The hit limited HBO series with Kate Winslet ended the fifth episode this past Sunday in shocking fashion, and we now only have two more episodes left. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)
If the promo for episode six is an indication of things to come, then we’re in for a final ride with Mare as she hunts for whoever killed Erin.

I know I said it Monday, and I’ll say it again for everyone. If you’re not already watching “Mare of Easttown,” I can’t recommend it enough. It’s absolutely outstanding on every single level.
I won’t spoil anything about how episode five ended, but it was one of the most shocking episodes of TV in recent history.

Now, with two episodes left, things are really winding down as we try to figure out who killed the young mother.
Something tells me that there’s more than one bad guy involved. Again, knowing what we know from episode five, there’s no way he was the only one. It’s just not possible.
