Harrison Ford has reportedly been hurt on the set of “Indiana Jones 5.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the legendary actor and face of the hit franchise “suffered a shoulder injury while rehearsing a fight scene” for the newest addition to the series. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

A Disney spokesperson said in a statement about the situation, “In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”

Damn, Indy is down! I repeat Indy is down! This is not good, and I think I speak for fans everywhere when I say we’re collectively holding our breath hoping Ford bounces back quickly.

First and foremost, we’re all hoping that the injury isn’t too serious. Hopefully, it’s just a bruise on his shoulder and he’s back to swinging around with a whip before we know it.

We’ve been talking about “Indiana Jones 5” for several years at this point. The last thing we need is it being delayed even more because the man famous for playing the title character is hurt.

Protect Ford at all costs! He is the only hope we have of having another hit Indy film.
