Jenna Berman has apparently nuked her Twitter account.
According to BroBible, the girlfriend of 49ers superstar Nick Bosa nuked her Twitter account after nearly decade-old tweets surfaced showing her using the N-word. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
“‘I swear to you I’m a n**ger magnet.’” “😂😂😂”
Jenna Berman, the Trump supporting girlfriend of 49ers player Nick Bosa, quoted and laughed at her friend who called herself a “n**ger magnet.”

Her Instagram account is also currently locked up, but it’s unclear whether or not that happened before or after the tweets were found.

Now, there are two points that I think have to be made here. First, using the N-bomb isn’t acceptable, and isn’t something that needs to be defended.
We all know it’s a racial slur, and there’s no way around it. If you grow up in America, it’s hard to imagine you don’t know that.
So, now that we have that out of the way, let’s dig into the second issue. As far as I can tell, Berman was born in 1996.

That means she was a teenager when she sent those tweets. Does that make it any more acceptable? Of course not, but young people do and say stupid things. That’s part of growing up.
Young people say and do things they think are acceptable and then hopefully, someone who loves them teaches them to correct their behavior.
Are we really going to crucify a woman for tweets she sent before she could legally vote? Have we not seen this played out enough?

Are we a society without grace anymore? Do we not leave room for mistakes? Some of these tweets appear to be nine years old. Do we not allow teenagers to grow up anymore?
I’d certainly like to think we live in a society that still has a decent amount of room for error from children.

It’s okay to point out things that were said were unacceptable and at the same time recognize that children eventually grow up. If we can’t have that basic outlook, then our society is headed to a place I don’t want any part of.
