The Jacksonville Jaguars want fans to be patient with the team’s development.

The Jaguars are off to a brutal 0-2 start after losses to the Texans and Broncos. Through two games, the team doesn’t appear competent and Urban Meyer looks lost. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Yet, the team doesn’t want people to panic!

After losing to Denver this past Sunday, the Jaguars released a statement asking fans to “Hang in there with us. We’re going to get better.”

You can read the full release below. It’s laughably sad.

You know things are bad when you’re begging fans to remain patient. If that’s not a troubling sign, then I don’t know what is.

If things are so bad that you have to ask fans to relax, odds are you’re already in a real bad place.

Seeing as how we’re only two weeks into the season and fans are already being asked to “hang in there,” it might be time to smash the panic button.

Trevor Lawrence might be under center, but I’m not sure there is nearly enough talent around him to save the squad.

Plus, Urban Meyer might honestly be looking for an exit so that he can rush to coach the USC Trojans. It’s a world of chaos in Jacksonville.

I think we all worried things could quickly go south in Jacksonville, and it now looks like they have. You just hate to see it!
